Hello,
I'm trying to launch wowza with a User Data zip file, but I keep getting this error message and have no luck with my script: ec2: -----FETCHING USER-DATA SCRIPT----- --2009-06-24 18:19:27-- http://169.254.169.254/1.0/user-data Connecting to 169.254.169.254:80... connected. I created it on a mac, but didn't have any better luck doing in with a file created on a windows machine Here's the command i'm using to launch ec2-run-instances ami-XXXXXXX --region us-east-1 --instance-type m1.small --user-data-file startup.zip --key gsg-keypair --group default --group devrecognizer any advice? |

Are you using one of the AMIs on the Wowza EC2 Support page?
Also see this post regarding startup package zipped on a mac, that might be the problem. Richard |
