Here's our first contribution to the Wowza Labs:
Wowza Integrated Development Environment (Wowza IDE) is a free integrated development environment structured to simplify and streamline the tasks of extending, configuring and managing the Wowza Media Systems products. It is an application built on top of the popular Eclipse application framework from the Eclipse Foundation.
Wowza IDE is available for the Windows and Mac OS X platforms. This latest version of Wowza IDE includes:
- Updated Java code template to support new non-static Wowza Pro programming model.
- Eclipse platform version 3.3.0-europa Java development tools as well as custom Wowza IDE features to enhance and simplify the development of Wowza Media Server Pro modules and server extensions.
- Java Management Extensions (JMX) perspective (Eclipse JMX plugin 0.2.1) for managing and monitoring Wowza Media Server Pro servers.
Wowza IDE will be offered as a free tool when officially released.
