Wowza Media Server is a Flash Media Server alternative, Flash streaming server and flash server.



Getting Wowza Media Server is easy as 1-2-3:

Step 1 - Download a Wowza Media Server Pro Installer
To complete the install you will need to obtain a valid license for the desired edition - see Step 2. Click on the desired installer to expand. Note: all Wowza Pro installers support both 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems and Java runtime environments.
Windows Installation

Right-click to download (49.1 MB)
To install:
   Double click the installer and follow the on-screen instructions
Mac OS X Installation

Right-click to download (48.5 MB)
To install:
   Double click the installer and follow the on-screen instructions
Linux RPM Installation

Right-click to download (48.4 MB)
To install:
   sudo chmod +x WowzaMediaServerPro-1.7.0.rpm.bin
   sudo ./WowzaMediaServerPro-1.7.0.rpm.bin
Linux DEB Installation

Right-click to download (48.3 MB)
To install:
   sudo chmod +x WowzaMediaServerPro-1.7.0.deb.bin
   sudo ./WowzaMediaServerPro-1.7.0.deb.bin
Linux/Solaris/Unix Installation (using tar command)

Right-click to download (48.4 MB)
To install:
   sudo chmod +x WowzaMediaServerPro-1.7.0.tar.bin
   sudo ./WowzaMediaServerPro-1.7.0.tar.bin

Step 2 - Get a License
All license keys are distributed by email and require a vaild email address. Wowza Pro is licensed pursuant to the Wowza Media Server Pro EULA which contains licensing terms, conditions and restrictions.
  • Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), Hosting Services and Streaming Services: the Wowza Pro Software Subscription edition is required for service provider use. Please contact sales@wowzamedia.com with additional questions.
