The Wowza Media Server 2 Subscription edition combines full unlimited multi-protocol, multi-client functionality with a friction-free monthly subscription licensing for use on your own hardware*. This lets you dynamically scale up and down as you need and pay only for the server instances you're actually using.

This license can only be used on a server that is connected to the Internet. A successful connection with a Wowza licensing server is required for start-up and periodic check-in.

You will be billed on a monthly basis according to the maximum number of instances in use on any day (GMT) during the month and the following pricing schedule:

First instance:	$65/month recurring fee
Next 3 instances (instance 2 to 4):	$55/instance/month
Next 6 instances (instance 5 to 10):	$50/instance/month
Next 10 instances (instance 11 to 20):	$45/instance/month
Next 30 instances (instance 21 to 50):	$40/instance/month

The first instance is included with the recurring monthly fee. Additional instances are billed in arrears (at the end of the month). See notes* for more information.

* NOTES:

• This is a software subscription license only. You must use your own hardware and internet access. This license is not valid for use on Amazon EC2.
  
  
• Subscription is a required license for use by service providers. What is a service provider?
  
  
• An instance is a single machine with up to sixteen (16) CPU cores running a single copy of Wowza Media Server. Machines with more than sixteen CPU cores will count an instance for each sixteen cores (e.g., a 32-core machine will count as 2 instances).
  
  
• Wowza Media Server 2.0.0 or higher and Java 6 or higher are required for use of the Wowza Server Subscription edition license.
