The Wowza team has released Wowza Media Server Pro 1.6.0.
This update offers a number of significant improvements, fixes and new features, including:
- New License Option: Wowza Pro Software Subscription.
- Added dynamic per-virtual host and per-application logging (see included conf/log4j.properties and included User's Guide for more information).
We recommend that all users upgrade to Wowza Pro 1.6.0 by either: downloading and installing the full Wowza Pro 1.6.0 installation package (recommended); or upgrading Wowza Pro 1.5.0 through 1.5.3 to full 1.6.0 functionality with 1.5.3-patch36.

In between stable, official releases, the Wowza Team will periodically produce development builds in the form of patches. This allows users to try out the latest releases of Wowza Pro to test and give feedback, and to get access to new features early.
